Pier Side Carousel

The Pier Side Carousel is a classic chair swing ride that will transport you back to 1960s America. If you take a stroll along the promenade of Santa Monica Pier, you’ll probably spot the beautiful carousel from afar: with its blue and white striped canopy and gold decorations, this ride is a real feast for the eyes, even before you step on!

If you take a look up above your head, you’ll be rewarded with the sight of some beautiful pictures.

You won’t be able to admire these pictures during the ride, which feels more like a flight, because the centrifugal force pushes you out from under the canopy, so that you rotate around the carousel at an angle.
