Christmas Boulevard USA

Hollywood Boulevard is transformed into “Christmas Boulevard USA” during the cold season and will be reminiscent of a typical American small town with numerous fairy lights and colorful decorations.

So that Santa Claus and his elves can ring in the festive evening from 5 pm, the big “Christmas Tree Celebration” takes place daily at the fountain around the festively decorated Christmas tree, which is over 15 meters high and weighs over 2.5 tons. A light show lights up the boulevard and is accompanied by musical Christmas classics. In the Roxy 4-D cinema, “The Polar Express” brings the Christmas miracle to the big screen. The grumpy Yeti S.A.D comes out of the studio halls again just in time for winter and is available for meet & greets.

The grand finale of each day is a closing show with fire, laser and light effects that not only makes children's eyes light up, but also the sky above Movie Park Studios. Movie Park Germany has collaborated with Bottrop-based company FOG to create a weather-independent version of the closing show.

The “Christmas in Hollywood Parade” marks the return of the winter version of the parade. Amidst the lights and Christmas atmosphere, the streets come alive to the IMAscore soundtrack around “Christmas Boulevard USA” and “Rockefeller Plaza” in a wintry setting.
